Cairns Port Douglas Trail Ultra Mandatory Gear List.
Mandatory Gear List.
Sections of the CPTU can get really cold, especially up on the Hinterland if running through the night. For your safety we will require you to carry minimal mountain kit for racing the CPTU120 and CPTU80 as you may be racing through the night. Remember the kit isn’t there for you when you are running it is there for you in the event of an emergency, if you are injured and have to wait for remote athlete support to rescue you. The kit may not ever use it you are an elite runner, but it is there for everyones safety on the course and we all have to carry it.
