Getting to the Cairns Port Douglas Trail Ultra
We are in our finalising our permits and have been asked by Cairns Regional Council to make sure that our entrants know they are unable to park at Crystal Cascades and on Stoney Creek Rd in Kamerunga. Cairns knows about our event and they will be booking illegally parked cars. Cooperation between the trail running community, local residents and the local councils is essential for us to be able to obtain a permit for our event. We ask that everyone either is dropped off at the start line of their events or purchase a transfer. See our transfer page.
Take the time now to jump on your Onetime Profile and add this transfer to your order. I will have more details on where the drop-off areas are for the CP2 Kamerunga in the next communication. This checkpoint is strictly no parking on Stoney Creek Road, the Checkpoint Park park does not have a turnaround area. Tentatively we will ask to be dropped off at Kamerunga Conservation Park and walk into the checkpoint. Stay tuned for this update.
Jump on the Onetime Link Below and Enter the CPTU or update your registration by adding your transfer to the start line.
